Third World Again

Stake – 12 inches long made from wood. In medieval times made of ash or aspen. Modern times made of Iron Wood out from Sonoran Desert, dipped in garlic, tipped in silver and blessed by churched. Technical Specifications-Hunter Guide.

Things have been hectic around here a little and a little weird. When power first went out I went to make sure everything was secure in the bunker. It turns out it was just a massive invasion upon our power grid and it took a while to fix the problem. I did manage to patch in to the cities power grid. It took a little genius on my part and bypassing their security protocols I erased any evidence of our intrusion. They will never know where the power is going; I should get a gold star for this one. You see they have this relay interface for current output that measures their actual usage by node activation that measures down to the milliamp. Well, when we use the power it actually turns their meter backwards so it should be hard to discover we are leeching power.

I guess it is back to South America again here shortly, can you believe my luck? Third World country, with third world technology. Why do vampires like to hang out in third world countries? I hate trying to function there not to mention we just got back from that area of the globe. I will have to make sure I bring my ipod and plenty of Adrenalin O.D. so I can rock out and drown out everything else.

Thrown Out Of The Lab Again

Flechett Shell – 12 gauge fitted round packed with 950 wood splinters per pound. Each splinter is crafted from the Ironwood tree which is found only in the Sonoran Desert. These projectiles are the only wood substance that can remain intact from the high explosiveness of the brass end of the cartridge. 40-60 yard range. Technical Specifications-Hunter Guide.

Why can’t they just leave me in the lab, that is where I do my best work. Sorry, to explain my frustration I just received a call from Alexia and they are putting together a team. Lucky me, I was hoping for some more down time after Panama. Oh well, orders are order.

I need to return to the lab and try to put the finishing touches on the UV scope for the rifle mounts. While the UV illumination is not really deadly to vamps, it will cause them some certain discomfort. If it only causes a slight hesitation in the target it should give the hunter a slight advantage.

I am just ranting now so here is to the team meeting tomorrow blah, blah. Now on to more important stuff.
